Annely De Los Santos

Annely has a BA in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Hunter college. While she loves the field of Medicine and increasing her understanding of the human body, she also has a strong passion for learning and education. She finds immense joy in helping others find new ways of thinking about complex problems. As a first generation college student, she had to figure out the world of education on her own. Now, she seeks to leverage her knowledge and experience to level the playing field for other first-gen students, thereby creating magical opportunities!

Caitlin Potter

A 2018 grad of Montclair State with a degree in Food and Nutrition, Caitlin has a passion for education, food policy, and public health. She is currently completing a supervised practice program at Hunter College to become a Registered Dietitian. As a community nutrition educator for the past three years, she has taught students K- 12 and believes that being proficient in reading, writing, and math is essential for success and, most importantly, health. She’s dedicated to creating an engaging and positive learning environment to best assist her students in reaching their potential.

 

Chigozie Madu

Chigozie is a recent nursing school graduate and certified Registered Nurse. She has a passion for teaching and empowering others to understand material, and as a result excel in their coursework. Every student learns differently, and her personal tutoring philosophy is to “find what works for you!” She strongly believes that all students are capable if they possess a strong enough desire, maintain consistency, and exercise a little patience!

Achraf Daboya

Achraf was born and raised in Togo (West Africa) & Paris, France. He moved to NYC at the age of sixteen and graduated with an advanced high school diploma from Christopher Columbus High School. By the time of graduation, he’d received a full ride to Harvard University. He is fluent in French and English - as well as 8 west African dialects.

Kevin Hernandez

Kevin is a Computer Science-Mathematics major at Columbia University (minor in Statistics). He has 5+ years of experience helping students and his fellow classmates in all areas of Math (from basic Algebra to Applied Mathematics. He hopes to pursue a PhD in Computer Science and work on general intelligence A.I. with the goal of curing brain damage/ illness.

She takes it as her personal responsibility to help students improve their grades and feel comfortable with standardized exams. Mark is in his second year of his Master’s of Science in Special Education at SUNY New Paltz. He also received his Bachelor’s of Science in Adolescent Education with a concentration in History with a minor in Black Studies from SUNY New Paltz. As a NYCDOE certified educator, Mark makes a point to provide all of his students with the highest quality care and time. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Mark has more than six years of tutoring, coaching, and teaching experience in all major subjects and has displayed a passion for both teaching and youth development. She is currently living in Spain for the year, where her family is from, and will begin a master’s in psychology in Berlin in 2022. She wants to pursue a career in mental health, as a therapist or counselor. Having worked with youth of all ages in several contexts, Maya believes in a holistic approach to academics, and works to support her students in any way she can!
